Tyler Hines is an associate attorney with Tabak Law in the Veteran’s Affairs Department. Tyler grew up in Normal, IL and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a four-year letter-winner and team captain on the swim team. Tyler received his law degree from Chicago-Kent School of Law and specialized his studies in trial advocacy and civil litigation.

Prior to joining Tabak, Tyler defended doctors in medical malpractice lawsuits and served as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Wisconsin in Unemployment cases. Tyler specializes in getting to the heart of each Veteran’s claim and providing direct and concise arguments to service-connect Veteran’s cases. He believes his job is to learn each Veteran’s story and tell it so they can maximize their benefits.

 In his spare time, Tyler stays involved with the sport of swimming by training and competing in open water races and giving private lessons in the community. He enjoys reading and spending time with his wife Jenny and his two dogs, Boomer and Lola.
