Morgan Schaaf Smith is an associate attorney with Tabak Law in the Veteran’s Affairs Department. Morgan grew up in Temecula, CA, and graduated from University of California at San Diego in 2020 after receiving her bachelor’s degree in philosophy. Morgan graduated from the University of San Diego, School of Law, in May of 2025. While in law school, Morgan gained valuable experience while working at the Riverside County DA’s Office as well as the San Diego County DA’s Office.

Morgan has always been surrounded by veterans; her husband and father-in-law are both USMC veterans. Also, her father is a highly decorated Green Beret veteran who was assigned to MACVSOG during the Vietnam War.

Morgan hopes to connect with, listen to, and help as many veterans as she can. She enjoys speaking to clients and hearing about their various military backgrounds.

Morgan lives in New Bern, NC, with her family. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son and husband, eating sushi, and playing soccer.
