Offering services to veterans is some of the most rewarding work that we do here at Tabak Law. Often, deserving United States Veterans are denied the benefits they have earned due to their time in combat and need legal assistance to secure them. That’s where we come in to help – and we have a plethora of successful stories of providing veterans priceless assistance through the years.
But in addition to helping with benefits claims, we offer other services to our valued military veterans. One such service is providing free wills for veterans and their families to help them ensure that their families are taken care of in the event of their passing. In addition to offering these services on a regular basis, we also attend local events to provide this completely free service. One such event is the Veterans’ Resource Fair taking place Monday, Oct. 15 and Tuesday, Oct 16 at the Waukesha County Veterans Service Office.
In addition to our free will offering, the resource fair will be full of valuable information and assistance for veterans. The resources available during the event include:
- Federal Benefits
- State Benefits
- Local Resources
- Assistance with VA Healthcare Enrollment
- Education Benefits
- Employee Assistance
- State Veterans Homes and Cemeteries
- Home Healthcare/Long Term Care Agencies
- Legal Assistance
- Free Lunch and Dinner for veterans
- Free Flu Shots
- Job Placement Assistance
There will also be performances by Guitars for Vets on both days and a performance from the Kettle Moraine High School Band at noon on the 15th.
The Veterans’ Resource Fair will be held at the Waukesha County Veterans Services Office at 1000 Northview Road in Waukesha. The office can be reached at 262-548-7732
