This year marks the 173rd Wisconsin State Fair! In its early years, the State Fair traveled to different cities each year until it found a permanent home in 1892 at its current location in West Allis. With endless activities for the whole family, you can enjoy live music, thrilling rides, unique foods, animals, and so much more.

Irish Fest 

Date: August 15-18

Location: Henry Maier Festival Park | Milwaukee

Since 1981, Milwaukee Irish Fest has been dedicated to celebrating and sharing their rich Celtic heritage with the world and is the world’s largest celebration of Irish/Celtic music and culture. This festival features Celtic art, history, genealogy, shopping, and over 35 food locations throughout the grounds.

Milwaukee Night Market

Date: August 14, 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Location: West Wisconsin Avenue | Milwaukee

This summer marks the 10th anniversary of Milwaukee Night Market, a mixture of art, crafts, food vendors, live art creation, local music, and a beer garden. This market was designed to create a free, vibrant, safe, and interactive place for people to experience culture at night.

A La Carte at The Zoo 2024

Date: August 15-18

Location: Milwaukee County Zoo | Wauwatosa 

Every August, the Milwaukee County Zoo hosts a vibrant festival featuring food and live music. Enjoy a stroll through the Zoo as you savor delicious dishes from popular restaurants and groove to performances by local and national artists on six stages throughout the park.

Mexican Fiesta

Location: Milwaukee World Festival | Milwaukee

Celebrate Mexican heritage with lively music, delicious food, Mariachi performances, and festive fun for all.
